As a senior undergrad in the midst of my job hunt, I totally identify with the "Dare to Apply" dilemma. I want to so badly choose a job that's most beneficial to advancing my software development skills. However, I'm scared of a job where the learning curb is possibly too steep because it doesn't line up with the skills I have developed or it's too different from what I have worked on in my internships.

I'm hoping that with a requirement of the job must have a clear path to advancement and encourages employees to develop professionally, that even if I unknowingly choose the "lesser" job, it won't matter since I can still develop at the company with which I end up.
