And how happy fans of the show would be! Word on the street is that there could be a “Gilmore Girls” movie… apparently Amy Sherman-Palladino, creator of the show and writer for 6 of the 7 seasons, said so during a press event for her new sitcom. Cool. Hopefully this movie news isn’t a PR stunt to draw more attention to yet-another-new-sitcom, but will actually happen.
I’m not sure how I feel about this. I actually really liked the way the series ended. I was worried that Logan was going to resurface again in the last episode and Rory would end up going with him… or, Jess or Dean would show up! :p I was so happy that one of them ended up single, because nobody ever ends up single! (which just reinforces the whole message that it’s bad for women to be single).
