After blogging here on a mish-mash of topics for a number of years, I'm shuttering this blog and moving on to a new domain, focused on web development and technical management. I hope you'll join me at Obi-Wan Kimberly!

If you’re going to stare at my breasts…

…you could at least donate a dollar to save them.

Genius! Via CNN, this is a new advertising slogan for Susan G. Komen for the Cure (formerly known as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation). I can’t wait to get my hands on a t-shirt. Can you imagine how much money I’d have raised by now if I’d started wearing such a shirt 10 years ago?

  1. Do you know when they will be available?

  2. Just got the following e-mail from Komen for the Cure:

Thank you for your interest in purchasing in a t-shirt. This shirt was originally created to be used as a limited promotional item in conjunction with a new marketing campaign we debuted earlier this year. After receiving numerous requests from the public, we did explore the possibility of adding the shirt to our merchandise selections. After further consideration and taking into account a variety of viewpoints, we have decided not to move forward in producing this particular shirt concept as a merchandise item. However, due to the demand we received for that shirt, we are currently working to harness the strong spirit and tone of our new messaging, and develop a new shirt/s to meet this demand. Please visit komen.org again in the near future to check out our new line of shirts.
